As long as you haven't been living under a rock for the past few years, you will have heard of global online boutique Nasty Gal (and like me, you may have even spent a ridiculous chunk of your salary there). From cute threads to great shoes and accessories, Nasty Gal has been my go-to online shopping destination for years, and it never fails to deliver.
Cue your introduction to Nasty Gal founder - and my new personal hero - Sophia Amoruso. In 2007 when she started an ebay store selling cheap vintage pieces from the tiny pool-house she was renting, she could barely afford her favourite hamburger from Burger Road. Today she is worth over $100 million and employs over 350 people. To top it all off, the girl hasn't even turned 30 yet. As she puts it herself - #GIRLBOSS.
After reading her book within one day (it really is that good), I went on to research her more, and as I had anticipated, her style is as edgy as she is. If you're looking for an inspiring and honest read I HIGHLY recommend the book - who better to take advice from than a millionaire 29-year-old style icon?!
Check out Sophia's hard work at Nasty Gal here, where you can also order your very own copy of #GIRLBOSS.
